It was the shortest trip in bird club history due to the snow, wind and lack of birds. Great turnout though so I can only hope the new people try it again! I was reduced to saying "In this spot I had 5 scarlet tanagers- LAST YEAR" "this is where we had the prothontary warbler- LAST YEAR" "This is the cattail patch where we had marsh wren and virginia rail-LAST YEAR" get my drift? Kurt Schwarz (Mr. snail mail) called and I'll post for him- at Centennial Park yesrterday afternoon- CASPIAN TERN PINTAIL PAIR GREATER YELLOWLEGS BLACK SWAN ??????? where did this come from?
