Seems the birds are getting = some of the blame for declining Salmon runs (who doesn't share some of = the blame - overfishing by commercial fishermen, too many sport = fishermen, "unfair" fishing by Japan and Canada, logging methods, dams, = Native American fishing rights, water pollution, sea lions, or birds?). = Take your pick. Reminds me of the saying "if you build it, they will = come." I guess the Army Corp of Engineers and fisheries biologists = thought nothing would ever use the island; I'm surprised Sea Lions = haven't also found it. It will be interesting to see who leaves first, = the terns or the "Tern-inators."
