After talking with Stan Arnald, and hearing of his finds . I set out to the lake . Cattle Egret my target. After searching for what seemed like hours and only coming up with 2 Mallards, 2 Coots , and a few Canada Geese, I decided to give up my search at the lake and try somewhere else. While driving back to the other side of the lake I noticed an Osprey hovering over the area where I just came from. I watched it make three dives, coming up with a nice sized fish on the third and quickly flying off to enjoy its meal. I then noticed a Green Heron fly in, my first of the year, watching it for several minutes until I noticed a Palm Warbler, also my first of the year. After that , I decided to stay finding the following: Caspian Tern 1 -- flyover Bonaparte's Gull 3 flyovers Tree and N. Rough-winged Swallows Purple Martin -- another first and yes I did manage to find the Cattle Egret , another first and a first for my N.Tract List MANY MANY THANKS STAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
