I was alerted to look up after I heard one call. What a an alien sound for Layhill, which has only a spindly stream. (Triadelphia's not too terribly far away.) These were the 1st loons I've seen at (over) the park. About 8 blue-gray gnatcatchers around; no warblers, though. Also, one gray catbird and a pair of purple finches.
