Luckily we turned up one VESPER and aprox 50 SAVANNAHS. FIELD were in full song and a smattering of SONGS SPARROWS were in the thickets. Two SWAMP sparrows were nice to find. The other notable birds were flyover CASPIAN TERN, EASTERN MEADOWLARK, BROWN THRASHER and KESTREL (caught and ate a very tiny snake OR a very large worm). NO SONGBIRDS except one GNATCATCHER and one RUBY KING.
