Unfortunately, it won't be too informative, since = I have received very few reports (either positive or negative) and have not had any luck seeing the Kelp Gull myself since early March (despite 5 tri= es so far in April). The manager of the restaurant also said the Kelpster hasn't been around for several weeks. This is all very similar to its pattern last year at this time, but there were more eyes looking and more reports coming in then. Before long, with luck, it will show back up and resume its regular appearances. Bad news, though. Now the oil spill from a power plant on the Patuxen= t River has reached the Sea Breeze beach and crews were there today, "moppi= ng" up the oil. Frankly, I hope the Kelp Gull stays away for a while more--I'= d hate to see it land in that oily water and try to clean itself.
