We apparently covered some of the same territo= ry as "lone ranger" Paul O'Brien, who has already reported his sightings, so I'll just report a few things that Paul did not: In the large, very wet field along Sycamore Landing Rd. we had 3 AMERICAN BITTERN in quick succession At Hughes Hollow we had 2 GREEN-WINGED TEAL and 4 BLUE-WINGED TEAL and a cooperative singing WHITE-EYED VIREO At Seneca we had 2 HORNED GREBE At Violette's Lock we also had 4 CASPIAN TERN and a single BONAPARTE'S GU= LL The warblers were few and far between. We did have 1 N. PARULA and 2 LA. WATERTHRUSH pretty much where Paul had them. Mike Bowen Bethesda MD 301-530-5764 __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
