Unfavorable weather has stifled much of the migration. The few days of good weather predicted for this week might bring in super numbers since this is prime migration time. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by. Our counters could use your help, too. A correction to last week's report: The yearly total of 2026 Bald Eagles should have been 26. Just a small error! 4/11/00 TV 2 SS 2 NG 1 RT 1 Total 6 4/12/00 TV 12 OS 44 BE 1 NH 30 SS 106 CH 14 AK 248 ML 6 TOTAL 461 4/13/00 TV 9 OS 4 SS 2 rt 2 AK 1 U 2 TOTAL 20 4/16/00 BV 3 TV 20 OS 13 NH 1 SS 29 CH 9 RS 1 BW 5 RT 5 TOTAL 86 SEASON TOTALS BV 222 TV 2931 OS 184 BE 27 NH 90 SS 594 CH 244 NG 2 RS 233 BW 33 RT 367 GE 1 AK 761 ML 18 U 14 TOTAL 5721 HOURS 200.5 Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Patapsco River, about 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD.
