This morning in Port Republic, Calvert County, there were a lot of Hooded Warblers (5), two worm-eating, 5 wood thrushes, 3 redstarts and 3 house wrens. The usual (!) large numbers of parulas and ovenbirds, and 1 Louisiana waterthrush. Mayapples are in flower, and so are ladyslippers! After returning from the woods, I sat in my chair with a second cup of coffee and my lists, when a hummingbird came to my feeder. Nice way to get a new year bird! sue ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
