Didn't turn up anything in the cattails except 1 BCNIGHTHERON and 2 GREENS. A few COMMON YELLOWTHROATS and 2 YELLOW WARBLERS were fighting over territory. The real treat however were 4 GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS and a dozen SAVANNAHS. The few SWAMPS I found were singing. I had my first ORCHARD ORIOLE of the spring. Lots of hawks up with BROAD WINGS, TAILS, and OSPREY. Most interesting was a crow that landed in the cattail area and came up with a squirming snake and off they flew.
