At first I thought it was injured but when I approached it for a photograph it flew up into a nearby tree. I searched for Glenn Lovelace's Ruff in Caroline County but did not find it. There were a lot of Yellowlegs and some Dunlin and I found 3 Glossy Ibis' on the Dorchester side of the road. This is an interesting spot if you keep a county list since the West side of the road is Dorchester County and the East side is Caroline County. On Saturday, most of the shorebirds were on the West (Dorchester) side. I had a Vesper Sparrow on the Caroline (East) side along Oak Grove Road and some Purple Martins on the Dorchester side. On Sunday I had 2 Turkeys in QA county at Spaniard Neck. I had a Solitary Sandpiper at Millington WMA. ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
