Had great looks at a Wood Duck pair plus an additional male, and saw a Carolina Wren with a large spider in its bill. On our way back to the FSU campus, a Common Raven flew over near the rte. 36 Frostburg exit, and I heard the first Yellow Warbler singing on campus when I got out of the van. The migrants are getting here, even if the leaves on the trees aren't! Happy birding- Gwen Brewer gbrewer@frostburg.edu ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
