Bathing and eating. If anyone wants to try for them in the morning feel free to look behind the house at the thistle. I have 2 Eastern Grosbeaks now. A customer reported a pair of Evening Grosbeaks at her feeder in Ellicott city the past couple days. I was out birding in Woodstock this morning and had a MERLIN and 12 WHITE-CROWNED sparrows. The most amazing sighting- Paula Ecker had come up to the store to look at the new Swarovski bins. We stepped outside and were scanning the skies and I spotted a red(speck) bird in the distance "That looks like a tanager I said" and the bird then changed course and flew right over our heads! It was a lovely male Scarlet Tanager! The fun things that happen!
