Many of them - at least 5 singing males on each of 4 10 hectare sites! Only found one female. Others: Acadian Flycatcher - 1 Black-throated Blue W - 2 Black-throated Green - I can't count that high Blackburnian - 1 Myrtles - still a few singing here Blackpoll - 1 Worm-eating - at least 10 in one site, several at other sites. Ovenbirds - many Prairie - heard one while driving between sites Pine - about 12 American Redstart - 4 Blue-headed Vireo - many; one was doing their little wispy song around a second - pair? Red-eyed Vireo - about 12 Yellow-billed Cuckoo - 2 Black bear - 1! My first in MD. A small (~150 lbs) one, likely a yearling male. Yesterday we got to watch 2 Barred Owls share a Gray Squirrel. How romantic. Both looked like adults. Good Day!
