PARULA 2 CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER 6 BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER 4 BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER 30+ YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER 4 BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER 3 OVENBIRD 2 COMMON YELLOWTHROAT 2 SCARLET TANAGER 4 ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK May 3 - Anacostia Park 1 COMMON SNIPE 1 SOLITARY SANDPIPER 4 ORCHARD ORIOLE 1 BALTIMORE ORIOLE 6 YELLOW WARBLER 1 BROWN THRASHER May 3 - Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens 4 GREEN HERON 1 OSPREY 2 GREATER YELLOWLEGS 4 SPOTTED SANDPIPER 3 WHITE-EYED VIREO 2 WARBLING VIREO 1 PROTHONOTARY WARBLER 4 SWAMP SPARROW 2 ORCHARD ORIOLE 1 BALTIMORE ORIOLE 2 BOBOLINK - both males (I note Mike Milton had 3 there on 5/4) MARYLAND May 4 -- various spots along the C&O Canal between Seneca and Edwards Ferry numerous PROTHONOTARY WARBLERs and LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSHES 2 ACADIAN FLYCATCHERS just above Seneca migrating warblers were few and far between today May 4 -- Lilypons fish hatchery, Frederick County MD 3 GREATER YELLOWLEGS 6 LEAST SANDPIPER 11 SOLITARY SANDPIPER 3 SPOTTED SANDPIPER 3 GREAT EGRET 1 YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON (on a dike quite near to the headquarters) 3 PURPLE MARTIN 1 RED-SHOULDERED HAWK 2 N.
