Good flurry of activity between 7:30 and 8:30 (which was all the time Sukon had). In one corner behind the mansion, we had Cape May (male), blue-winged, chestnut-sided, BTB, BTG, and magnolia. A Nashville was seen and heard nearby (later on, we had 2 more Nashvilles). After 8:30, things slowed down only a bit. Walking down the hill, we had at least 4 scarlet tanagers, both orioles, warbling vireo, yellow warbler (1 bathing in the middle of the path), solitary sand. (6), lesser yellowlegs (1). No hooded warbler heard from the trail. Total of 15 warbler species for the day. There are several large spruces near the mansion (some in front, some behind). Check these out for Cape Mays.
