In 45 minutes, star= ting at 10:50 PM I heard overhead the flight notes of: 15 Veery, 2 Gray-cheeke= d, 4 Bicknell's, 30 Swainson's and 2 Wood Thrushes. This morning I had both Gray-cheeked and Swainson's singing in my back yard. Today's other migrants include 2 Pewees (the first to reach here), 1 Nashville, 1 Yellow, 1 Chestnut-sided, 1 Cape May, 2 Black-throated Blue,= 15 Yellow-rumped, 1 Black-throated Green, 1 Blackburnian, 3 Blackpoll Warble= rs, 2 Redstarts, 1 Northern Waterthrush, 1 Yellowthroat, 3 Scarlet Tanagers, = 2 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, 2 Indigo Buntings and a Baltimore Oriole. For a= hot day, 12 warbler species isn't bad.
