A long time coming. I get them all the = time but I don't have Harlequin Duck on my yard list. I photographed a Blackburian Warbler that Gwen Brewer found on Saturday. = The bird was to the west side of the OC bridge on Rt. 50. If it turns out, it should be respect= able. Either Gwen or I will compile some data from the trip and copy or forward to you for North American Bir= ds. I understand you have some dead birds that you are willing to donate to G= wen's Frostburg collection. I want to set up a time after work when I can stop over, maybe we could hav= e a pizza and beer, and pick up the specimens. I would also like to query you about the new Swarofski= 's (sp?) you had at Gene's gull party. My quick impression was they felt very comfortable in my hand= s and were extremely bright. With the 10 foot minimum focus they might be my next pair of binoculars. I also see you are closing in on my Charles County lead. Maybe it is tim= e to get serious about my home county. I would not want an outsider taking the lead. This would be emb= arrassing. At least you are finally ahead of John Gregorie on the state list. Let me know when you can get together. Thanks for the dead birds. George >>> Jim Stasz 05/06/00 07:25am >>> Hi Folks! I knew there was a reason to stay home and alternate house-cleaning with gardening. I just had a new species for my Yard List: Gray Catbird! This= is #209. Good Birding!
