(What else?). I found a flock of cedar waxwings, viewed with binoculars towards the sunlight. Even with the lig= ht in my eyes, I could see the crest, black around the eyes, light band endi= ng the tail - - and a bright light wing bar. I didn't think anything of it, until I got back to a reference guide, and saw that cedar waxwings don't = have light wing bars. I also saw that Bohemian waxwings, which are not in thi= s area, do. Was it just one bird so marked? I'm not sure. I was so taken with two particular birds on a branch, both somewhat puffed up, which mov= ed in and out towards each other, occasionally touching beaks. I'm going b= ack today and try to get another look. ========================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ========================================================================= ===========================================================================
