I saved the mirrors from = the medicine cabinet and my daughter and I tried an experiment in our garden.= We placed the mirrors behind seed beds and seedlings to see if the extra lig= ht would increase growth. The results were inconclusive, but yesterday we discovered an unintended = side effect. A male cardinal had discovered the mirrors. He spent most to the= day either trying to stare himself down or fight with his reflection. Who kn= ows how long he had been at it. But I am sure he feels much better this morn= ing now that his persistent rival(s) has finally left. Tom Beal Glenn Dale, MD PS I had thought about placing the mirrors opposite each other so that he would see an infinite number of enemies, but I guess that is too evil. ========================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ========================================================================= ===========================================================================
