Today there were 6 Veery, 2 Gray-cheeked, 10 Swainson's and 1 = Wood Thrush in UWBP, along with 5 Red-eyed Vireos and 3 Scarlet tanagers. The warbler count was: 1 Nashville, 2 Chestnut-sided, 1 Magnolia, 4 Black-throated Blue, 8 Blackpoll (the exclamation point of the migration)= , 3 Redstart, 2 Ovenbird, 1 Kentucky (still on territory), 1 Wilson's and 3 Canada, for a total of 10 species. I looked for the Olive-sided Flycatcher late yesterday afternoon in Wooto= n's Mill Park to no avail. Gemma Radko found it at noon. It made no appeara= nce in UWBP either.
