This morning's thrush sang for me. It had a strong call note which came before the rather subdued song. The call note was a Whup! (rising). I have old tapes -- the song fits the 'old' gray-cheeked. I can't seem to download 'Quicktime' to listen to the site you mentioned... I am frustrated, because my 'More Birding By Ear' is at work -- where I'm not going till tomorrow (off site job today)....... Can you or anyone give me another site>?? Thanks!! I want to clear this up while the call is still in my brain, not overlain with other stuff...... sue hamilton ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
