AM 5/13, during the May Count/DC Audubon Birdathon. Additions to the Oxon Cove cumulative list are welcome, as we are entering another round of the battle to keep this 42-acre wooded tract from becoming a for-profit prison site, or being transferred to Corrections Corp. of America, which claims the site whether used for a prison or not. Blue Grosbeak(s) were observed Saturday by others; I saw a male Sunday afternoon in Kenilworth Park. A more surprising and gratifying DC observation on Saturday was shared with Ottavio Janni, Rob Hilton, and Lisa Shannon, and I assume will be reported to OSPREY with the May Count results.
