I abandoned my cereal, grabbed up binoculars and conducted a search. It continued to call, but never could spot the little devil. This was a new yard species for me. ( My cereal was reallllly soggy when I got back to it!!) Other stuff: BLUEBIRDS making trips to their nestbox, male BALTIMORE ORIOLE feasting on tent caterpillars, singing the while, CAROLINA WRENS bopping all over, and BROWN THRASHER performing repertoire. Life, ain`t it grand? On that note, time to get busy!!
