I have tried at Port Mahon and Bombay Hook without success. What type of marsh is appropraite habitat, type of marsh grass, etc? As far as the call, I have Peterson's CD which has only 'Sharp-Tailed Sparrow.' Is this Saltmarsh or Nelson's? Are there any other resources on the web for ID or calls? I am planning some night birding for Friday evening in the direction of the Nanticoke River / Elliot's Island. Might there be a good chance of finding a sparrow in that vicinity before dark?
