Hi,

I decided to venture into my woods at about 11 this morning (5-18-00).
I soon saw an Acadian Flycatcher that flew to a branch about 20 feet
from my head. I had been standing still so I thought it might not be
aware of me. I studied it for a little while and then it flew to a
branch a bit farther away, I studied it again. After I put down my
binoculars it moved a very short distance to a nest where it proceeded
to settle in. It acted like it was incubating eggs, but the nest did
not look as big as nests I have seen in the past so maybe it was still
in the building stage.

Good birding,
Patty Craig
