They were flying in the lower fields at the top of the ro= ad, and perched for quite some time in some multiflora rose shrubs in the fie= ld not far off the road. I looked hard for a male, but found none, nor did I hear any, but we did have singing males there on the morning of May count= (May 13), while it was still dark at about 5:45 A.M.
