They were in two groups, one right after the other, numbering perhaps 30 birds. Around my house I have a steady group lately of about 48 birds, chowing = down on wild cherry petals, mulberry fruit (green (?)). Every day and evening = when I take the dog out I hear them in the trees and hedgerow, seeing them fly around often enough for a head count.
