On the same trip, GOLDEN WING WARBLER, most co-operative and captured in scope by Mike Bowman. I was also happy to get RAVEN for the year, same trip as well. Chuck Hagar did an amazing likeness of the call, to which we had response from nearby woods. On the Friday afternoon trip to Lilypons led by Bonnie Ott we had a lovely YELLOW CROWNED NIGHT HERON, new MD bird for me. On the way home from the conference we got STILT SANDPIPER and BLACK BELLY PLOVER at the Emmitsburg Harney Rd. Ponds. ( A handful of other die hards had the same idea, thanks for getting us on the STSA Phil!! ) Great conference experience despite the dreary weather.
