We started at Alpha Ridge park and had great views of a wide variety of local nesting species. Both ORIOLES, KINGBIRDS and WARBLING VIREOS offered great looks. YELLOW WARBLERS and INDIGO BUNTINGS were cheerful songsters. We then drove down to Henryton along the river and were rewarded = with a couple VEERYS, singing WOOD and SWAINSONS THRUSHES. A few breeding warblers were still vocalizing LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH, YELLOW-THROATED and NORTHEN PARULA. A YELLOW-THROATED VIREO also sang continuously. Nesting GNATCATCHERS were very busy!
