Don Broderick had it in sight when Marion and I arrrived at about 11:30 AM. It fed actively in the south pond, more-or-less keeping compan= y with 5 or 6 mature Glossies. For comparison, there was a first year Glos= sy Ibis in the north pond along with several additional adult Glossies and lots of other waders. At about 12:30 PM the White-faced and its companio= n Glossies took off, flying over the trees and out of sight to the west. I= t had not reappeared by the time we left at about 2 PM.
