MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit When we lived in Randallstown some years ago, Horsehead Woods (south side of McDonogh road, opposite the McDonogh School) was one of my favorite birding spots. Great for warblers and not bad for wildflowers. I understood it was a nature reserve and open to birders. Now we live in Ellicott City and I rarely get over in that direction. I recently noticed lots of private/no tresspassing signs along the edges of the woods. Does any one know the status of the woods as a nature reserve? Can one get permission to bird there? Has there been a change in the status of woods? Who owns them? I would be grateful for any information on these lovely woods. Thanks in advance.
