Totals included Whips seen or heard at = 25 of the 38 stops checked on the survey. A total of 66 Whip-poor-wills = were heard with 2 being seen along the roadways. A pleasant surprise for the survey was one Chuck-will's-widow heard = calling loudly from just off the Red Trail along one of the routes being = surveyed. This is near the northern most part of the refuge and would = be towards the northern most limits of its range.
