Incredulous that vandals would walk that far to ply their trade, I examined the destruction more closely and determined that it had to have been a pileated woodpecker. If Woody has a special fondness for larval carpenter bees, than brother Danny's house is in great danger! He has plenty of both. Wonder if homeowner's insurance covers woodpecker attacks?
