Ask anyone who has had the misfortune to have stepped in a puddle after a thunderstorm, only to find out to their dismay that the the puddle had covered a fire ant mound! Hopping in water after standing on a mound is not necessarily the best course of action; in addition to making the ants even angrier, you will also help to distribute them even further up your pant legs, with the to-be-expected consequences.
