(we do not have a ceiling on the porch, so all the yummy beams are exposed). Problem is, we love the carpenter bees as much as the birds and can't figure out the best time of year to put a ceiling up on our porch to deny them access, but not trap too many larvae by doing so. Any ideas? Do they overwinter inside the wood? We do currently have a Red-bellied that has found out how neat metal flashing is, and has been rapping on every piece of it he can find. danny bystrak bristol ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
