We had quite a surprise this AM when he took members of the Baltimore Bird Club to some of his favorite birding spots. The most birdie spot was a place just below WBAL's TV hill. We were astounded to find: 3 pairs of nesting Orioles, (2 Baltimore, 1 Orchard) singing Veery Wht, Red-eyed & Warbling Vireos Willow & Acdian Flycatchers Indigo Bunting Blackpole, Yellow & Common Yellowthroat warblers Kingbirds Towhee In other areas: 3 Blk-crowned Herons near Horseshoe Falls of Jones Falls. Rough-winged swallows were everywhere along the route we drove and/or walked. 42 species in all. Thank you, Brian!
