There is a Rock Dove with a blue band (the person that told me couldn't see the numbers and he didn't notice which leg) at the Clustered Spires Golf Course. It is crouched under shrubbery near the air conditioner at the pro shop. It has been there for 3 or 4 days, not moving much, although outwardly it doesn't appear injured. One of the guys at the course has taken to feeding it the last day or two. It is eating. Is there somebody that would be interested in the band (if I get more info) or the bird or is this not important? On a more interesting note, yesterday I had a Great-crested Flycatcher chowing down on egg shells. I have one of these guys in my yard every year, but this is the first time one has come down to my feeders and for egg shells no less. What great views I had -- much better than trying to spot him through the oak leaves! ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
