MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi Folks! I have goten a couple requests for the location of Schoolhouse Pond so.... Schoolhouse Pond is in dowbtown Upper Marlboro, Prince George's County. If you have a highway map printed by the Maryland Department of Transportation it is under the letter "O" in Upper Marlboro. The pond has a boardwalk and trail so you can walk around it. Parking is by meter only on Governor Oden Bowie Drive. There is a parking lot that is free nearby: from Main Street [Rt.725] head west [north] on Old Marlboro Pike and turn right on Old Mill Rd. then the 2nd left into the parking lot with all the Townhouse-like office buildings. The ramp to the pond is near the gazebo. Good Birding!
