This is not a species I normally see from my Bethesda Md. office window between about April and September.....There was enough of an updraft off the buildings and roads (concrete and brick) for them to wheel and soar without much flapping. A crow was tailing one of them closely. It's still cloudy here but much warmer than either this morning or this time yesterday. The cool air mass is in retreat.
