One other pelican flew in from Calvert county moments later. When I checked again at 6:00 pm there was only one adult remaining, but he was still there at 6:40 when I left. so maybe it's an early afternoon thing. View the Pound Nets from the north end of Chesapeake Ave. or the town pier. A scope is helpful. Also one male Surf Scoter (lots this year) at Herrington Harbor (Anne Arundel County). No sign of Danny's Canvasback or lingering ducks in the North Beach area. Seen 'em recently Danny?
