The Loggerhead Shrike was on station in the field south of Lilypons Rd. at
about 7 a.m. this morning (Sat., 17 June). From the brown house mentioned
by Greg Miller, there is a clumpy tree a scope-width to the right
(foreground) from the house. From under the tree, a fence with thick wooden
posts runs off to the right. The bird was viewed perched at various times
between the 15th and 19th post, counting to the right from the broad gate
under the tree. It was also viewed flying in another field to the east when
a tractor disturbed its original perch.

No dickcissel or Vesper Sparrow on Lilypons Rd. this morning (a house cat
was lurking near the corner of Rte 85).

Out on Cap Stine Rd., 8 Dickcissels were either seen or heard between the
4000 and 4500 blocks of the road. They are tough to miss!

Thanks to all who posted replies to my RFI on YT Warbler, etc.!
