Subject: Kent Narrows pelicans ??? when

At about 7 PM the afternoon of June 17, Marion and I stopped by Kent
Narrows on our way back from Cecil County, hoping to see at least one of
the 32 Brown Pelicans spotted there by Marshall Iliff on June 14. We found
the Narrows Restaurant and had great views of what we took to be the proper
seawall and the surrounding areas, but not a single pelican. Dusk was
setting in, there had been showers very recently, and we were sprinkled as
we searched.

Have others looked for these birds? If so, with what luck? What times of
the day and under what weather conditions have sightings been made? Does
Marshall just have a thing with pelicans, or did we do something wrong?

Harvey
