The fields here were mowed recently. 1 male heard at least 0.1 mile west of Cap Stein Road, behind a line of trees in the far field. This location is 0.8 or 1.8 miles south fo Manor Woods Road (forgive me, it was hot) SAVANNAH SPARROW 2 birds singing (one seen on a wire) at the location with two Dickcissls listed above. A Grasshopper Sparrow was present too. 1 bird along Lilypons Road just east of Route 85. This bird was perched on a fencepost. I only stayed a few minutes and I did not see the shrikes.
