Follow Route 4 east/southeast approximately 45 miles (total distance from the Beltway to the park) passing Upper Marlboro and Prince Frederick. Approximately 15 miles past Prince Frederick you will see a sign in the median of the road for Flag Ponds. Turn left off of Route 2/4 onto Flag Ponds Parkway and follow the road to the main gate. The park opens at 9. To answer your other question about the Solomon's Peregrines, I saw on sitting on the old Osprey nest on 6/11 and haven't been back since then. Perhaps someone else has seen them more recently. ////// Arlene Ripley | || Calvert County, MD | 0 || aripley@nestbox.com | || http://www.nestbox.com || ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
