Beach. This is only the 4th June coot i've ever seen. Also many more Forster's Terns are back (and a Common in with them). Could not find a Ring-billed Gull! No early shorebirds at the N Beach mud flat, despite it being in perfect condition. Speaking of early shorebirds -- saw 4 Spotties at the Harney Rd. Ponds on Saturday (24th). Anyone know if they nest in the area? Doesn't look like the greatest habitat to me. danny bystrak bristol ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
