The shrikes are usually to be found in a clump of trees in the field just east of rte. 85 and on the south side of Lilypons road. There is a small structure in the field near a clump of trees. Look beyond this clump of trees to another stand at the intersection of several fences. You will need a scope. The shrikes are usually to be found on the fences just below or very near these trees. Go early in the morning or late in the day as heat distortion can make your viewing difficult. The shrikes are active even on very hot days. They can be located easiest at a low (20x) power, but higher magnification (40-60x) might be best for viewing once you've located the birds. They were there about noon? today.
