Co. Wednesday morn= ing enjoying the perfect weather. I found an adult Bonaparte's Gull sitting = on a rock at the water's edge, preening and loafing for at least 45 minutes. = It was part way into basic plumage (the hood streaky and retreating) and had severely worn tail feathers. The air over the water was busy with lots o= f Cliff Swallows.
