I found 39 species during a hour-long walk along Red Run Blvd at Owings M=
ills
Wetland. A low flyover by a Great Egret was amazing. Other highlights
included a Blue Grosbeak family of five behind the Hilton; capturing a fi=
rst
spring male Orchard Oriole, a singing Common Yellowthroat and a
Yellow-Breasted Chat in a 60x scope; and watching a Chipping Sparrows and=
 a
Willow Flycatcher feeding young.
Other birds: Green Heron, Ruby-Throated Hummingbird, Indigo Bunting and
Belted Kingfisher.
