If you know what week a message appeared you can open that segment and search within it. The search command is one of the buttons at the top of the page when you access the weekly file via your web browser. Alternatively, the new MDOsprey archives can also be searched in their entirety from the following archive address: http://home.ease.lsoft.com/archives/mdosprey.html The archives from the Fall of 1997 (the beginning of MDOsprey) through December 1999 are available in 3-month chunks. Within these archives you can search the index of Subjects using your web browsers Find command or you can scan the subjects for a particular period of time looking for relevant topics. Admittedly these archives aren't nearly as easy to use but they are complete. These older archives are available from http://mdosprey.home.att.net I've gone to a lot of trouble to make these earlier archives available and it never ceases to amaze me how many people don't use this resource but choose to simply ask someone else to do their searching for them. There, now everyone can call me a curmudgeon again.
